Scroll to "Online Applications" and click on “Apply for Certificate.” STEP 2: Verify / Update Profile.
As of September 1 2016, SED requires all applicants for certification to use a form to verify employment as a teaching assistant to progress to Level II or Level III. The Verification of Experience form can be found at http://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert/certificate/form.html.
4 Απρ 2019 · For the Pre-Professional Teaching Assistant Certificate, individuals must have one year of full-time experience in a New York State public or private school as a teaching assistant while holding a valid New York State Teaching Assistant Level I, Level II, or Level III certificate.
The Teaching Assistant certificate provides you with the foundation to work as a teaching assistant in public and private schools. Teaching assistants work in the classroom to provide direct instructional support to students under the supervision of a licensed teacher.
The Teaching Assistant certificate authorizes individuals to provide direct instructional services to students under the general supervision of a certified teacher. There are four certificate levels issued: Level I, Level II, Level III, and Pre-Professional.
