17 Μαρ 2010 · I'd say the woobie is three times better than the thinsulate poncho liner I used to have. The woobie was warmer, packed better and simply wrapped around me better. Sadly, I don't have my woobie any more. I sold it when I thought I'd try something different (which failed).
24 Οκτ 2012 · The Kifaru and HPG options seem to possess similar characteristics. They are approximately the same size, with the mountain serape being a bit heavier. However, In my brief research, the mountain serape appears to offer more versatility in its use. Also, the cost between the two is comparable.
The kifaru woobie is fantastic all around, as is the swagman, but for sheer versatility, a wool blanket is significantly more versatile, and durable, at the cost of weight and packability. An afterthought, you may find the high end model woobie from Group 1 to your liking.
2 Ιουν 2019 · Just wanted to post a review of the Kifaru Woobie since I couldn’t find many online when I was trying to decide if I should buy it. Because of this, I put it off for a few years but finally pulled the trigger last fall.
