26 Ιουν 2024 · To accelerate time in MSFS, use these keyboard commands: Fast forward: CTRL + R + The plus key on the numeric keypad. Reduce simulation rate: CTRL + R + The minus key on the numeric keypad. If you check the in-aircraft clock, you will know it’s working.
It's a small executable you start outside the sim. Hit the connect button and it'll speed up the sim (with audible announcements) to 4x speed. When you approach a waypoint, it automatically slows back down to 1x speed to let the simulator catch up, then it speeds back up again.

Minimum simulation rate appears to be 4x slower, which equals two times a decrease in rate (two times pressing the - key). So as you said, easiest way to reset to normal simulation rate is pressing a hundred times the R + - keys, and then pressing two times the R + = (+) keys
