6 Νοε 2023 · The West Seventh Street bridge in Fort Worth that opened 10 years ago this month notched a lot of firsts. It was the world’s first precast network arch bridge, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The West 7th Street Bridge spans across the Trinity River on the western edge of Downtown Ft. Worth. Parallel precast arches stand vertically in a series of six equal spans that comprise the 980 ft length of the bridge, Two inch diameter stainless steel bars criss-cross between the precast arch members creating a beautiful web of tension members.

11 Οκτ 2022 · West 7th Street Bridge. Built to replace the 1954 Van Zandt Viaduct, the West 7th Bridge was constructed in 2013 by the Texas Department of Transportation, connecting downtown with the Cultural District in a 980-ft span.
West 7th Street Bridge in Purple and White. This bridge was designed by a TxDot Engineer to provide a replacement for the old West 7th Street Bridge (1914; 1954) that spanned the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. That bridge was also known as the Van Zandt Viaduct.
2 Ιουν 2023 · Long-time tenant Tinker Studio remains on-site, but in a new expanded studio. Several new businesses are also now under the Seven Hills umbrella, including Kindred Mission Beauty Salon (opening soon) and Old Mission Distilling, which is owned by the four project partners.
