The King Thresher Spine is an ingredient dropped from the King Thresher, it can be found at Starswept Valley,Deep Thresher Nest, and The Depths or in the Diluvian Mechanism. It is almost identical to a Thresher Spine except it has a purple tint instead of a brown one.
The King Thresher is a much bigger and more powerful Thresher that spawns in the Starswept Valley, as well as the Depths, along with two smaller Threshers. It drops a King Thresher Spine that can be used for crafting armour. There will usually be a chest reward after you kill this monster.
Jessamine is an NPC found underneath a broken castle, just outside of the entrance to Widow's Hollow in Starswept Valley. Talking to them will start a quest that allows you to obtain the Talent "Thresher Scales" to regain armor at campfires. There is a King Thresher in the Lightkeeper Temple...
