However, if it was turned based, it would have turned me off completely from the series. To me, turned based is just really slow and the current combat makes the game feel fun and doesn't make grinding for levels feel like a chore.
And fun fact, there IS some turnbased combat in the series. ReCoded had this gimmick where they sometimes changed up the gameplay mechanics for the world. The olympus world had a FF style turn based combat. Also, the KHUX games wdre technically turn based to
4 Ιουλ 2021 · Though Kingdom Hearts is now its own sprawling franchise, the original 2002 release of the first game in the series held strong connections to the Final Fantasy series. Final Fantasy X had released one year earlier, and was a turn-based RPG, like the nine games that preceded it.
I prefer turn based games, but I think KH's story is a trainwreck, so I sure wouldn't play it for that. Its gameplay would have to be really good to convince me, and just "controlling" the guardians doesn't tell me much about how the system would actually be.
31 Μαρ 2021 · If you’re new to Kingdom Hearts you might well assume it has a turn-based combat system like many of its peers in the JRPG genre.
Unless Items are generally useful across the board, but most RPGs have them fall out of effectiveness after the first third of the game. I suppose it depends on how HP and MP gets in this game....
