The award-winning journalist joins Felix de Bedout as co-anchor of Univision News’ national evening newscast airing Saturdays and Sundays on the Univision Network.
In 2010, while still co-anchoring Primer Impacto, she became the co-anchor of the weekday edition of Univision's late evening newscast Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna. On June 3, 2011, it was announced that Pamela Silva would be joining Primer Impacto, replacing Ilia Calderón, who stayed on Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna. [5]
The program's weekend editions, Noticiero Univision: Fin de Semana (Spanish for 'Univision News: Weekend'), are currently co-anchored by Félix de Bedout (who joined the program in 2011) and Arantxa Loizaga (who became co-anchor in 2014).
