Prophet Hud (may peace be upon him) called his people to worship Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) exclusively and renounce all other forms of worship. He implored his people to question the rationality of worshiping gods created using their own hands.
19 Οκτ 2007 · A day came when they found the sky full of clouds. Hud's people were glad as they came out of their tents crying: "A cloud which will give us rain!" The weather changed suddenly from burning dry and hot to stinging cold, with wind that shook everything: trees, plants, tents, men and women.
26 Απρ 2024 · The people of Ad’ were living between Oman and Yemen. They were all builders and physically well-built. However, they were under the leadership of a dictator and were worshipping Allah as well as other creatures. Then, Allah sent to Earth, Prophet Hud (p.b.u.h) to guide these people to His path.
Hud explained that justice demands that there be a Day of Judgment because good is not always victorious in life. Sometimes evil overpowers good. Will such crimes go unpunished?
31 Αυγ 2009 · Sent by God to his brethren, Hud spread the message that God is One and to worship Him alone. It was the same message spread by all the Prophets of God. Hud said to his people, “O my people, worship God, you have no other God but Him”. (Quran 11:50).
Hud, even in childhood, remained consistent in prayer to God. It is related through exegesis that Hud's mother, a pious woman who had seen great visions at her son's birth, was the only person who encouraged Hud in his worship. [20] Thus, the Lord raised up Hud as a prophet for the ʿĀd people. [20]
