The prophet Hud, in a Persian illustrated Stories of the Prophets. This is a brief summary of Hud's narrative, with emphasis on two particular verses: The people of ʿĀd were extremely powerful and wealthy and they built countless buildings [19] and monuments to show their power.
Prophet Hud (may peace be upon him) called his people to worship Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) exclusively and renounce all other forms of worship. He implored his people to question the rationality of worshiping gods created using their own hands.

Hud (Bahasa Arab دوه , Aubir, Ubayr, Neber) (sekitar 2450-2320 SM) adalah seorang nabi yang diutus untuk Kaum ‘Ad yang tinggal di al-Ahqaf, Rubu’ al-Khali-Yaman. Hud dikenal dalam ajaran agama Islam, Yahudi dan Kristen. Dalam kitab Perjanjian Lama dikenal sebagai Eber. Namanya disebutkan sebanyak 7 kali dalam Al-Quran.
