ID Jewelry (quite well known / recommended) has more options for natural preset diamond studs in your wheelhouse - here is the link. I would honestly be hitting them up. F SI 0.3ctw at $425 (F is overkill imo, absolutely not needed at that size); GH SI 0.4ctw at $488 (great deal imo!);
I've not had a good 1:1 comparison for diamond vs. moissanite in person, and I'm honestly amazed at just how similar round brilliants look. The diamonds have more depth and icyness to them while the moissanite gives a bit more colorful sparkle.
Now that Kontakt 6 is out, I'm wondering how people feel about it compared to Kontakt 5. Is it pretty much the same, or have there been any significant changes? Does it affect performance differently? Are there any new modules that you find worthwhile?
14 Ιαν 2019 · Kontakt 6 Upgrade: New Effects. Kontakt 6 now includes Replika Delay which is based on the NI plug-in REPLIKA XT, 3 algorithmic reverbs (Room Reverb, Hall Reverb andPlate Reverb) and Cry Wah, a classic wah-wah effect normally used on guitars.
According to what I've read on forums, Kontakt 4.1 offers the most comprehensive conversions, but K5 still does a reasonable job at capturing the most crucial aspects — zones, velocity ranges and key mapping.
A lot of orchestral/cinematic sample libraries run in Kontakt Player or even require Kontakt. So deciding between Kontakt and Kontakt Player depends on which sample libraries you have or want to get in the future. When it comes to Komplete Kontrol, i use it for browsing through my sounds.
Is Kontakt 6 worth it? With the current sale I can sidegrade to Kontakt 6 for $180. Before I click buy is there anything better or as good but cheaper? I've been looking for a good sample player to get a range of instruments and seems like this could be it?
