How recommended is Kontakt 6? I’m looking to make the jump from hobbyist to something a little more serious. With it being on sale I’m very tempted as this will be my only purchase of the sort for the time being.
Since Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt Player (smaller version of Kontakt) are both free, i would suggest you just download them both and you‘ll notice the differences.
Now that Kontakt 6 is out, I'm wondering how people feel about it compared to Kontakt 5. Is it pretty much the same, or have there been any significant changes? Does it affect performance differently?
Kontakt ships with three instruments in their new Play series; these are not part of the Kontakt library, being separate downloads that are activated via the Native Access app, and have their own entries in the Library Browser.
10 Νοε 2020 · It can be a stand-alone platform, so that you can open the program and play samples live through a computer, or it can be integrated into a DAW for recording purposes (you need to create a new soft-synth track and add Kontakt to the effects bin).
14 Ιαν 2019 · Kontakt 6 Upgrade: New Effects. Kontakt 6 now includes Replika Delay which is based on the NI plug-in REPLIKA XT, 3 algorithmic reverbs (Room Reverb, Hall Reverb andPlate Reverb) and Cry Wah, a classic wah-wah effect normally used on guitars.
The bottom line is that with the Native Instrument Kontakt 6 you get a fully-fledged sampler with a multitude of effects and an extensive sound library. Update: Kontakt 7 Free Download
