i am a owner of KONTAKT 6 Crossgrade. And i want to buy the update to Kontakt 7 ' €100 '. Is this upgrade the same as if i would buy 'KONTAKT Factory Library 2' €149.00. Because the specs of the Kontakt 7 Factory Library 2 = Download size: 39.39 GB.
Now that Kontakt 6 is out, I'm wondering how people feel about it compared to Kontakt 5. Is it pretty much the same, or have there been any significant changes? Does it affect performance differently? Are there any new modules that you find worthwhile?
A lot of orchestral/cinematic sample libraries run in Kontakt Player or even require Kontakt. So deciding between Kontakt and Kontakt Player depends on which sample libraries you have or want to get in the future. When it comes to Komplete Kontrol, i use it for browsing through my sounds.
