If you've always wanted to mod KOTOR 1 or 2 but have been hesitant--which mods are good, which are compatible?--this resource is here to help. For over a decade I've worked with the mod community, collating and managing modular packages of compatible mods which I refer to as "mod builds."
My genuine advice is following one of the spoiler-free mod guides and manually installing from deadlystream, nexus, or gamefront. Kotor2 is one of the easiest games to manually mod, with TSLPatcher installing to the main directory or dragging and dropping files manually to the override folder.
I would throw in Brotherhood of Shadow Solomon's Revenge. It's a nice mod to play as it serves somewhat as a bridge between Kotor I and II thematically speaking. It is also, to my awareness, the only mod that actually adds new content to the game that wasn't cut from release.
The expansive new mod takes players to Old Blighty in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 4. You can download the mod for free on GOG and it's compatible with both the GOG and Steam versions of Fallout 4 GOTY.
18 Δεκ 2022 · My objective with the mod builds is to find the best KOTOR mods and present them as a fully-compatible & modular archive, allowing users to pick-and-choose the mods they want from a large, vanilla-friendly selection with minimum hassle and no fears of incompatibility.
What do you guys think? Would you like to see upgradeable swoop bikes? A completely overhauled swoop racing system? Or should the devs leave it untouched from the original?
23 Σεπ 2016 · I paid for a mod that makes swoop racing a straight line, got it encrusted in binary on a LP for only 200 US dollars. I keep it inside an asbestos lined concrete shielded, steel encased, kyptonite laced - box buried six meters underneath my porch. Ahh, no. I do not like swoop racing.
