13 Φεβ 2016 · This is a review and detailed measurements of the KRK Classic 5 powered studio monitor. I purchased it from Amazon when it was on sale for $134. It normally costs US $149.50 including Prime shipping. The Classic 5 has quite a sturdy and solid build distinguished by the bright yellow woofer cone:
9 Ιουν 2024 · KRK Rokit 5 G5: Performance and verdict. The Rokit 5 G5 is a 2-way front-ported, bi-amped monitor with Class D amplification. At first glance it looks very similar to its predecessor, and once again speaker volume and EQ are both accessed via the rear menu-driven LCD screen and rotary encoder.
Unusually for a studio monitor, powder-coated, perforated-metal grilles are included with the speakers to provide driver protection in mobile use. The woofer is built using an aluminium basket and is powered by a ferrite magnet, as is the tweeter.
11 Ιουλ 2024 · The new KRK ROKIT Generation Five Studio Monitors— the latest in the brand’s flagship speaker line—come in three sizes, with five, seven and eight-inch woofers. The woofers use woven Kevlar aramid fiber cones and proper ferrite magnets.
17 Μαΐ 2021 · The KRK V8 S4s are the top-of-the-line reference monitor and the largest in the V serie lineup. The V8s come in at roughly $800 apiece. It is reasonable considering how good they sound, with a consistent response, full and rich low end without being colored.
It performs a listening test via pink noise and then suggests which low and high EQ settings to use on the ROKIT G4 monitors. In my home listening space, it proposed the number two low-end cut and flat high EQ.
