Kubota recommends using either SAE 15W-40 or SAE 10W-30 oil. For temperatures below 32°F, SAE 10W-30 is advised, while SAE 15W-40 is suitable for temperatures above 32°F. You may still use SAE 10W-30 for warmer temperatures, but it's best to consult a user manual for more specific guidelines.

3 Μαΐ 2022 · For Kubota diesel engines, it’s generally recommended to use Kubota Super UDT or UDT2 oil, especially for the newer models. They provide excellent protection and performance.
5 Δεκ 2006 · Tractor. Kubota M8540HD ROPS. I agree, Kubota and their dealers need to get on the same page and update their API rating and engine oil weight specifications. The guy at Kubota headquarters I spoke with told me that for my new engine and cold weather I should definitely use 10W-30 and not 15W-40.
There are two primary types of diesel engines: non-exhaust gas recirculation and external-exhaust gas recirculation. Both use SAE multi-purpose grease. External-exhaust engines have several more lubrication points, so consult the owner's manual for specifics and schedules.
