Prime Minister Manmohan Singh unveiled the new logo for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) during its golden jubilee celebrations. The elements of the new logo include rising sun, the tri-colour book, depicted in such a manner that they also give the impression of flying birds and 50 in the centre marking the golden jubilee year (1963-2013).
