3 Ιουλ 2021 · The excel G is the stock replacement shock, the gas adjust are the upgraded performance. I have gas adjust for my car for when I start putting it back together. I work at a parts store and sell them all the time.

On KYB’s website, if you say that you want stock performance they list the Excel-Gs and the Gas-A-Justs for “improved ride and performance.” I just don’t want to get beat to death driving around town and when hitting bumps in the road.
28 Σεπ 2011 · It looks like KYB is the way to go, though I'm curious about the ride-characteristic differences between the Excel-G (GR2?) and the Gas-A-Just. There appears to be a mild USMB consensus stating that the Excel-G (GR2?) rear shocks ride a bit softer that the Gas-A-Just rear shocks.
8 Αυγ 2011 · My own personal vote is for the KYB Gas -Adjusts, the 5548's on the back and the matching front ones. Locally, the set of four,with taxes being added on, of course, will bite me about 2 bills. My M/C has the S/S springs in the back and LS springs in the front, along with Hotchkiss rear uppers and lowers and a UMI cross brace.

6 Φεβ 2016 · If I'm correct in what I read, the GR2/Excel G is a twin tube shock. There is no specific mention of this but KYB mentions a few times how the GAJ is a single tube shock. They also mention the GAJ would be a 'performance' upgrade vs. the GR2/Excel G(single vs. twin tube)
