Pay as You Go. Reduces the cost for drivers without FasTrak. In June 2023, the Metro Board authorized making the Pay-As-You-Go program permanent. Under this program, the cost of using the ExpressLanes without a valid FasTrak account/transponder has been reduced to $8 plus the posted toll rate.

You can add money to your account online, in person, over the phone, or at participating PayNearMe stores (cash only + $1.99 service fee per payment). You must make a minimum payment of $50 (or you average monthly usage) to your FasTrak account whenever your pre-paid toll balance falls below $25, or 50% of your average monthly usage.
