I recently got an email from Amazon that I thought was almost certainly a phishing email, but I went to contact customer service and turned out the email was legit. There’s also a messages center on their website that you can check.
Contact Us. Please visit our Customer Service page and select "Report Something Suspicious". You can find this option under "Help with something else". You will be offered a choice between reporting a suspicious phone call, email or SMS received or reporting a suspicious product or seller.
To report a phishing or unsolicited email to Amazon, open a new email and attach the email that you suspect is fake. Send the email to reportascam@amazon.com. Sending the suspicious email as an attachment is the best way for us to track it.
