Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for around the first 6 months and alongside solid foods thereafter.

  5. La Leche League (pronounced LA LE CHAY - 'the milk' in Spanish) is an international charitable organisation founded to give information and encouragement, mainly through mother-to-mother support, to all women who want to breastfeed their babies.
