L.A. Zoo Lights Tickets. L.A. Zoo Membership. Hours: Open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving Day and December 25. Please note that the animals start to go in for the night at 4 p.m. Last entry to the Zoo is at 3:45 p.m. Closure: The Conservation Carousel is temporarily closed.
