Request your Permit Inspections, including requests for Standard Inspection Request,Virtual Inspection Request, Extra Trip Fee, Off Hour and Additional Hour Requests. Standard Inspection Request are free, however additional fees apply for Extra Trip and Off Hour request.
The purpose of the Internet based Permit and Inspection Report is to allow easy access and visual display of general information from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) Plan Check and Inspection System (PCIS) and the Code Enforcement Information System (CEIS).
Request for Modification. Submit a new modification request. Slight modifications may be allowed per the City of Los Angeles Building Code on an individual case basis, provided proper justification and/or equivalency is used to support the modification request.

When the work is ready to be inspected, you can request an inspection online or by calling 311 locally, or (213) 473-3231 if you are outside of the Los Angeles area. The inspector will make sure that the work is being performed in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
