Each bola consists of two golf balls connected by a nylon rope. Playing Area: A flat surface with the ladders placed 15 feet apart. Place the Ladders: Position the two ladders 15 feet apart on a flat surface. This distance can be adjusted for younger players or beginners.

Ladder ball ladders are typically 36″ to 39″ high and about 2 ft wide. They contain three rungs that are about 12″ to 13″ apart. Buying a set is the easiest option (and not expensive), but If you don’t want to buy one, you can make one out of PVC pipes, wood, or metal.
Bolas are two golf balls connected by nylon rope and spaced 13 inches apart. They come in sets of 3 bolas of the same color for each team. For backyard games you don’t need to measure so precisely.
23 Δεκ 2022 · Six bolos are needed for the game, three of one color and three of another. Each golf ball needs a 5/16" hole drilled as close to the center as possible. A drill press with a vise is preferable, but an alternative method is shown in the picture.

The bolas in ladder ball are slightly modified: 2 golf balls are connected with a rope. The player whose turn it is lets these bolas circle and then throws them onto a small three-step ladder.
