20 Οκτ 2020 · The Lake CX238 shoes put in a top-level performance. They're not especially light compared with some, but there's zero flex in the sole, the uppers combine toughness with comfort, and the Boa dials are excellent.
Then after a few months replaced my Shimano RC501 with Lake CX238 shoes. Immense upgrade in comfort, also on longer rides. I have flat feet so I combine them with Superfeet Black inlays, which provide even more support. I have a pair of cx238 and I really love them. They are wide enough for my feet (size 44,5 wide).
Evolving from the CX237, Lake has improved upon performance and durability, with its high-cadence riding favorite, the Lake CX238 Road Shoe. Shaped for a better, more comfortable fit, the Competition last increases toe pitch and heel lift, allowing the foot to expand under high pedaling pressure.
9 Ιουν 2023 · My mid-range CX 238 road shoes and the MX 238 gravel/mountain shoes feature stiff carbon fiber soles, full-grain water-resistant leather uppers, and two BOA dials. There's also a bit of cat tongue-like material in the heel cup that adds grip to prevent heel lift.
3 Σεπ 2019 · Now going one higher with the CX238, the road shoe features a predominantly leather design with dual Boa IP1 dials and a full carbon sole. Starting with a natural fullgrain water resistant Ecco leather, the shoe features plenty of perforations and mesh inserts to keep things cool.
Found a really good deal on a CX238 and thinking of buying. I've got a pair of DMT KR1 shoes right now and think they're terrible. Let me know your thoughts on Lake quality. I’ve had two pairs, both fit very differently. Lake uses 3-4 different “lasts” for the different purposes.
