The fishery is managed by MDC, and the land surrounding the lake and all non-fishing related activities are managed by the City of La Plata. The City provides 30 camping sites, a playground, and a picnic pavilion.

  4. Maximum typical campsite capacity is limited to two sleeping units (only one of which can be wheeled), two vehicles (non-sleeping units), and six people; capacity is doubled for a family campsite. Exceeding the physical design of the campsite will result in additional fees.

  5. Fees are $15 for camp sites with hookups; $7 for primitive sites. The Park & Recreation Board will also offer monthly rates for those wanting to stay extended periods of time. People who bring their own boats will be required to pay a fee, which is $25 for a year or $2 per day.
