Lake Hodges is a small lake in Escondido that was once used for drinking water. It is still a "no contact" lake but you can wind surf. Only open on Wednesday Saturday and Sunday 6-6 is a nice lake to take your lunch and float for a.couple of hours. A lot of hiking and bike trails in the area.
