Lakeshore is located off West Lake Houston Parkway, 5 minutes from Beltway 8 and F.M. 1960 on the west shore of Lake Houston. From Downtown and South of Houston. Travel north on Highway 59, exit Beltway 8; travel east approximately 6 miles. Turn left on West Lake Houston Parkway and travel north approximately 4 miles. From North of Houston.

Lakeshore, a 440-acre community nestled along the west shore of Lake Houston, it has plenty of native trees that embrace the area, as well as multiple water inlets and nature trails meandering through the community. Lakeshore offers easy access to Beltway 8 and FM 1960.
The Houston City Hall building is the headquarters of the City of Houston's municipal government. Constructed during 1938 and 1939, the City Hall complex is located on Bagby Street on the western side of Downtown Houston.
Tours are available on weekdays and are offered free of charge. To make a reservation, please fill out this online form below or call Joharrah Jackson at 832.393.0970. City Hall Tours take place on selected Wednesday mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
Lake Houston Wilderness Park is the only park in the department that allows overnight stays in cabins and campsites. Most of the park is heavily forested with over 20 miles of trails which provide a quiet escape from the bustling city.
