Quality venue with delightful and entertaining staff and activities! The Land of Oz on top of Beech Mountain is SO well done, and everything from Dorothy’s house, Professor Marvel, the witch’s legs under the house, Glinda greeting everyone….seemed straight out of the movie!
23 Αυγ 2024 · The Land of Oz is one NC bucket list-worthy attraction you can easily miss. This former Wizard of Oz theme park sits at the top of Beech Mountain Ski Resort , and each year, it transforms into one of the High Country’s most popular events.
As you exit you will find yourself in the Land of Oz complete with Yellow Brick Road, character stages, photo opportunities and engaging tour guide. Your tour guide will entertain with knowledge from Wizard of Oz movie trivia, Baum Book information and of course the history of the belove park.
