Arguably the most famous distillery in Lexington, Woodford is also among the oldest. It started distillation in 1812 and currently ranks as a National History Landmark.
Really enjoyed our visit! We’ve been on other KY distillery tours, but this is the only one of the 40+ on the Awesome KY Bourbon Trail that includes both a brewery (beer) and bourbon distillery. Hats off to this distillery for combining traditional Kentucky bourbon with beer.
