19 Ιουν 2022 · Hours & Amenities. The National Air Force Museum is open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm. The only days they close are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Again, admission is completely free, parking is completely free, and tours are completely free.
Located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, 6 miles northeast of Dayton, this huuuuge museum has everything from a Wright Brothers 1909 Flyer to a Sopwith Camel (WWI biplane) and the 'Little Boy' type atomic bomb (decommissioned and rendered safe for display) dropped on Hiroshima.
