To fix a new space heater smelling like plastic (due to outgassing), you can simply run your space heater on full power for a couple of hours. The VOC gasses that cause the plastic smell evaporate at room temperature.

5 Νοε 2022 · The way to clean a Lasko space heater would be to take a vacuum with the brush attachment on the hose and vacuum the intake and exhaust vents of the heater from the outside without opening the unit. We advise that the unit is not opened in any capacity as doing so can void the warranty.
