Are they’re any Gen X YouTubers out there? Warning: Loud. Based on what I’ve observed most YouTubers tend to be either Millennials or older Gen Z with a few younger Gen Z folks I’ve began witnessing online. The most famous Millennial YouTuber being Markiplier while Mr. Beast is the most famous Gen Z YouTuber I’ve seen online.
I mostly go to YouTube to watch old Letterman clips, old concert footage of bands I like, and sometimes I'll watch a reaction video of someone checking out videos and songs from our era (they're surprisingly funny and entertaining!)
But many younger Millennials and Zoomers did grow up absolutely obsessing over the 90s. So late Gen X youth culture definitely hasn’t been forgotten. Is it overly simplified, marginalized and romanticized? Absolutely. But we did the exact same thing to the Silents and Boomers.
"Xennials" are Intellectually Dishonest about both Core Millennials and Late Gen X. In depth. Let me explain. They try to tell me I don't remember cassettes or taping videos or early Nickelodeon shows like Family Double Dare. They also act like I had social media for all of my teens even though I only started in 06.

Gen X built social media and the internet (a series of tubes) that makes it work. FYI you can block anyone from your past you don't fancy talking to on Facebook.
For this Gen X chart, I started it with the ultimate Boomer/X cusp ('63-'65 borns) and the ultimate Xennial cusp ('80-'83 borns). Those born in 1962 and earlier are mostly Gen Jones/Late Baby Boomers and before, while those born in 1984 onward are mostly early Millennials and beyond.
