11 Ιαν 2010 · From 1900 to 1910, Laurens County dropped to the seventh largest county in the state, but was the second fastest growing county in Georgia, only behind the capital county of Fulton. Once source noted that Dublin had more millionaires per capita than any other city in the nation.

28 Ιουλ 2012 · The home i was raised in was said to be the oldest inhabited house in Laurens county. My parents sold the circa 1810 house several years ago to a young family who have taken great care of it. There were blood stains on the second floor from an injured civil war soldier, so the story goes.
12 Φεβ 2016 · If you have any old photographs of Dublin and Laurens County, Georgia. To be "old" the photograph needs to have been taken before 1980 or must be of cultural and historical value. The Laurens County Historical Society is looking for photographs which depict the way we lived.
10 Δεκ 2004 · Laurens County , in middle Georgia, was established by an act of the state legislature in 1807 and named in honor of Colonel John Laurens (1754-82) of South Carolina. Laurens was an aide to General George Washington and was killed by a British patrol near the end of the American Revolution (1775-83).
