The Lawrence Aviation Industries (LAI) Superfund Site is located in a commercial section of Port Jefferson Station in the town of Brookhaven. It is a former industrial manufacturing facility with numerous derelict buildings that occupy an approximately 36-acre industrial portion of the 126-acre project site.
