Le Vieux Donjon is a fairly new winery if you use European standards : it was only formed in 1966! Organically farmed, this wine is a blend of Grenache (75%, and you can really taste that this wine has a majority of Grenache in it), Mourvedre (10%), Syrah (10%) and Cinsault (5%).
From a great vintage, Le Vieux Donjon 2019 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is rich, mouth filling and elegant with ripe blackberry, wild herbs, smoked meat, pepper and savoury spice flavours concentrated and long on the palate.

Le Vieux Donjon (2015) is a Châteauneuf du Pape with a classic blend of 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault wine grapes. Deep purple, full-bodied with rich layers of red and black fruit, this CNDP is drinking fantastic now and into the next decade.
