21 Οκτ 2018 · The casting process is pretty straight-forward; we begin by filling each cavity in a row on both sides, then removing an entire strip at a time using needle-nose pliers, and tossing them in a quenching bucket (optional) to harden up. Once you hit your stride, it’s pretty easy to crank out a large volume of shot with very little effort.
2 Φεβ 2022 · Finally tried out my new Lee 00 buckshot mold. Using a Lyman #2 lead mixture, running the pot at 700 degrees. Just can't seem to get lead flow all the way down, even after letting mold heat up. Any pointers would be appreciated.

29 Νοε 2018 · Using Remington Field grade buckshot, and federal wads or clones, you can make very good buckshot, for about 30 cents each (obvious caveat here about variety of choices affecting cost), which have optimal penetration and a lot better patterns.
