You can still switch back to the old cursor via a toggle in the Options > Interface menu. Last-Hit Assistance. On patch V8.14, if a basic attack would fail to kill a minion by 1 health or less, it will kill that minion. On patch V8.15, the last-hit assistance is removed.
Re-downloading and reinstalling League of Legends from the latest setup file may resolve a variety of technical issues. New versions of the setup files are uploaded after every patch, so reinstalling the game from these files will result in a fully updated version of League of Legends.
Patch 8.14. First, you'll notice two new section as of last patch: simple buffs and simple nerfs. For the most part, that's for self-explanatory changes designed at making a champion stronger or weaker but not really altering their playstyle all that meaningfully.
