Clue nests are nests that can be found while training Woodcutting or emptying bird houses on Fossil Island. Clue scrolls are items that contain a step of Treasure Trails, a series of clues leading towards a reward casket. There are different levels of clue scrolls, including easy, medium, hard, elite, and master, each with progressively harder clues and better rewards.
Some quests may have a breadcrumb trail leading to the quest area. The starting locations for all quests are labelled with a blue compass icon () on the minimap. Completing quests can provide rewards ranging from experience and items, to access to new areas, minigames, miniquests, and other post-quest content.
The optimal quest guide lists Old School RuneScape quests in an order that allows new Members to progress in a way that minimises the amount of skill training to completion of all the quests. This guide does not show the most efficient quest order.
