Lecompton has preserved historical sites and buildings that played a role in the events of Bleeding Kansas. During Territorial Days, guided tours may be offered, allowing visitors to explore these sites and learn about their historical significance.

A small, free, well-maintained museum with a friendly volunteer staff. The main floor explains Kansas history as a territory and its role in the Civil War, and also has a tribute to the local high school.
Constitution Hall will be open for tours, living history reenactments, and a 10 a.m. wreath-laying ceremony at the veteran's monument nearby. Admission is free, donations welcome.
