Abnormalities in your inner ear can cause a sensation of a floating or heavy head and unsteadiness in the dark. Nerve damage to your legs (peripheral neuropathy). The damage can lead to difficulties with walking.
Peripheral neuropathy happens when the nerves that are located outside of the brain and spinal cord (peripheral nerves) are damaged. This condition often causes weakness, numbness and pain, usually in the hands and feet. It also can affect other areas and body functions including digestion and urination.
These include: pain, tingling or loss of sensation in the feet. loss of balance or weakness. a cut or ulcer on your foot that's not getting better. It's also recommended that people at highest risk of peripheral neuropathy, such as people with diabetes, have regular check-ups.
