Download the addon you want to install. Make a folder on your desktop called “My Addons”. Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder. If, when you try to download the file, it automatically “opens”, you need to RIGHT click on the link and “save as…” or “Save Target As”.

2 Σεπ 2019 · Installing AddOns though the Twitch App works fine, and it has already created the nessecary folders, but when I extract addons that I get though someplace like legacy-wow, into the AddOns folder it does not show up in my game or my addons menu.

With so much to choose from how do you track down the AddOns that you want to use or are best for your playing style? There are 3 basic ways to do that on CurseForge and WoWInterface.

The Wago version will allow you to download addons from the Wago repository while the CurseForge version will allow you to download from CurseForge. Unfortunately, you can’t have both in the same app.
How do I install an AddOn? To manually install your mods: 1. Download your chosen addon. 2. Extract the files to a folder on your desktop. 3. Open your WoW folder. Please note, if you are using the Retail version of WoW, you want to use the _retail_ folder. If you are using the Classic version, you want to use the _classic_ folder.
