26 Σεπ 2024 · The term "non-lawyer" means any person, firm, association or corporation not duly licensed or authorized to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any person or entity who practices law without being licensed or otherwise authorized to practice law shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
In cases where the decision of the Court of Appeals is not final, any party aggrieved by a decision of the Court of Appeals may petition the Supreme Court for an appeal. The Court of Appeals consists of seventeen judges. The Court sits in panels of at least three judges, and the membership of the panels is rotated.
