31 Δεκ 2010 · Plot. Various people gather at the Paradise Falls diner run by Bob Hanson in the middle of the Mojave Desert. Bob’s son Jeep runs the adjoining garage and dutifully cares for the diner’s pregnant waitress Charlie, even though she does not return his affections.
A story of the Second Coming, Legion follows a group of people as they attempt to protect an infant savior from angels and the possessed in an apocalypse. Legion was released to negative critical reception, but was a success at the box office, earning over $67 million on a $26 million budget.
Legion is the second movie in so many weeks with a theme riddled with supposed religious overtones (The Book of Eli being the other). Instead, however, of delving into the way spiritual power can lift the hopes of the downtrodden, first time director Scott Stewart’s vehicle delves into how the power of God can be merciless and crush.

Lumped with the most remedial of soap opera moments, he’s pushed to the sidelines with a paltry one-liner, as sketchily drawn as the rest, including his son, the unfortunately named Jeep (Lucas Black), and his unrequited love, the aforementioned pregnant waitress, Charlie (Adrianne Palicki).
