Synopsis. David faces multiple tests. Plot. The members of Division 3 wake up, free from the infection. All except David and Syd who remain catatonic. Examining them, Cary determines that they are not infected with the Catalyst. Inside Syd's mind, David relives some of her unhappy childhood memories.
25 Απρ 2018 · Chapter 12 In the snowstorm, Syd sits in an igloo warming her hands over a fire, and hears a muffled scream in the distance. She crawls out and finds herself as a baby in her mother Joan's arms.
Plot. Inside the igloo, Syd ( Rachel Keller) experiences some of her childhood memories, which include disliking people touching her. This also caused her to become a victim of bullying, which also led to self-harm. David ( Dan Stevens) meets with Syd inside her mind, but she is dismissive of his intentions.
I'm seeing some people call it Legion's first filler episode. I would agree with it being filler as far as the main story goes, but it is by far one of the deepest character studies of any episode. We really get a look into Syd's mindset, beliefs, and past.

The scenes that explored Syd's past were presented very well - Syd being bullied at school, dressing up to go to a party and finding a costume that was the right fit for her whilst dancing alone at a punk bar - these were all incredibly stylistic moments that really made Chapter 12 stand out.
