Leonid and Friends is a Chicago tribute band based in Moscow. They began as a YouTube band, and now occasionally tour as well. Leonid Vorobyev (b. Nov.7, 1954 in Moscow, Russia), is the founder and leader of the band.

27 Απρ 2021 · A year ago, fellow musician and songwriter Alexey Ashtaev passed away at age 49. Today (April 26, 2021) would have been Alexey’s 50th birthday. Leonid & Friends just released a song Alexey wrote and co-arranged with Leonid called “ The Speck of Dust ” with Ksenia doing the lead vocal honors.
In 2010, having won the regional vocal competition «Shield and lyre», Ksenia decided to try her hand in Moscow. In the capital, she came to the Studio to his countryman producer Leonid Vorobyov. An experienced professional after the first listen revealed a great potential of Xenia.
