  1. Chihuahuan Sage, Chihuahuan Ranger. This wonderful evergreen shrub has a loose, spiky form and small olive-green leaves. Its casual form makes it an ideal addition to native palettes. Periodically in the summer and fall, during periods of high humidity, it explodes with fragrant lavender flowers.
