27 Οκτ 2023 · I recently learned the US travel advisory for Jamaica is at level 3 (reconsider travel). I am trying to understand if it’s historically been at a level 3 and this is nothing new or if it’s been escalated this year (which seems more concerning)? Thanks!
28 Ιαν 2024 · We are scheduled to go to RIU Palace, Montego Bay. In late February 2024. There is a level 3 advisory for Jamaica, we are scared to go now, Please all advice is welcome.
16 Ιουν 2024 · Hi Michelle – We are scheduled to travel to Jamaica, from the U.S., in mid-August (staying on the North Coast – Montego Bay). We have been watching our State Dept travel advisories which right now are at Level 3 (to reconsider travel due to high crime).
28 Ιαν 2024 · Is it safe to travel to Montego Bay Jamaica? I saw on the news today that there is a travel advisory at a level 3 to reconsider travel. Do we know why? Not traveling until the summer but I am concerned.
13 Ιουν 2024 · Is it Safe to Travel to Montego Bay? Definitely! If you consider most other Caribbean islands such as Haiti, Trinidad, and Cuba, Montego Bay and Jamaica would be hedging your bets. The crime rate is that of a lot of US cities, with the only issue being petty crime.
