  1. This method requires level 80 Hunter and level 31 Herblore, as well as completion of Bone Voyage to access Fossil Island. Stamina potions (or some other form of run energy restoration) are required for the fastest rates.

  2. Hunter Traps. Most hunter methods involve setting up a trap and waiting for a creature to get caught. Every 20 hunter levels, you unlock one extra trap. So at level 1, you can set up only 1 trap, at level 20, you can set up two and it tops out at level 80 when you can set up 5 total traps.

  3. Here are the rumours you want to get on each Hunter -- in the order you want to pursue them -- before you really get going: Gilman (Novice): Ignore him. Cervus (Adept): Pyre fox. Ornus (Adept): Sabre-toothed kyatt. Aco OR Teco (Expert): Dashing kebbit OR dark kebbit. Aco OR Teco (Expert): Anything.

  4. While you didn't get many Harralander, Tarromin, or Marrentil overall it'd still be nice to eliminate them and reduce the total number of Guam Leaf you get too. With Guam being by far the most common herb for you, every time you can replace one with something else seems like a big gain in XP.

  5. At level 80 Hunter, once you can place 5 traps, Red Chinchompas become a fairly efficient Hunter training method, all the way to 99. Your XP rates with red chinchompas really depend on whether you use tick manipulation to reset your traps.

  7. After a few hunter levels, I'd have enough herbs so sell to get my herblore to 80, so once I did that, I was able to harvest torstols, and no longer got marrentills/tarromins/harralanders (very strange!).
