Lexmark Technical Support has recommended a firmware update. Recommendations will be made by a technician if a printer function or printing anomaly is known to be corrected by updating the printer firmware.
First, upgrading your firmware will improve the overall performance of your printer. It can add new features and help it operate faster and more efficiently. It will also fix any firmware or hardware bugs that have been identified.
For instructions on how to update the printer firmware, click Updating the Lexmark printer firmware. If you are using the Lexmark Smart Card Authentication Client (SCAC) on any of the devices below, do not upgrade your printer firmware to LW90.xx.P015 until further notice .

The service is free and enables them to download firmware updates and free apps such as Card Copy, Eco Copy and Google Drive. This new functionality will allow customers to enhance their productivity with a variety of solutions.
