Seconding the recommendation to find out the doc’s name and look for reviews on Yelp. You aren’t required to buy your glasses from Costco; I’ve bought from them as well as Zenni and Coastal. One more consideration: if eye problems run in your family, you might want to see an ophthalmologist, just so you’ll have one if something comes up.

If you wear glasses the optical department is one of the best reasons to have a Costco membership. Quality is on par or better with any of the mall vision stores and the price can't be beat. The last two pairs I got using mediocre insurance from work.

Some have peeled from the sides, while others have begun peeling from random places in the middle of the lenses.
